Websites for a Cause
My name is Meredith, and over the past five years, I've had the opportunity to organize fundraiser, participate in charity events, and to speak to individuals and groups about service dogs. Made By Mer gives me another way to reach people and make contributions to some life altering organizations!
How does it work?
I want to use my talents to make a difference to some of the organizations that impact my life. Using my skills of web design (thanks to my high school teacher Mr. Fox who taught me two years of website development, and my experience at Cyberfluent), I am creating websites for donations to my favorite charities. I have high hopes that Made By Mer will accomplish three things:
1. It will help you, the small business owner, create a professional web presence at a cost much lower than a professional website company would charge. The websites I am building would normally cost between $2,500 and $3,500, but your cost will be less than half (and tax deductible at that)!
2. It will benefit several charities that have impacted my life as all sites will be built for a direct donation to these organizations.
3. It will help me raise awareness for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome - illnesses that impact my life but that most people do not even know exist.
